Bring friends to the party!

The first scene below is on a stormy night at an arcane college. You are running across a court yard to get out of the rain. Each of you separates to go to a different location. Here is what you know: Your friends in the cabal have all disappeared in the last 24 hours and for some reason you were left unmolested. The school has let out for winter break. The weather has been a bit odd. No snow, just icy rain.

What I'd like to do is to act out scenes with all of you. This is a good time to introduce some contacts and story elements you'd like to get the ball rolling. I will react to the information you provide and so on. Once an NPC is introduce they more or less become mine so please make sure you give me details on how they act and why they act that way. Make your scene as complete as you like and I'll take over the npc reactions were you leave off. All scenes most be concluded before we get together again. It is possible that we will have more then one scene so start a new post for each scene. Also, you'll want to read all scenes to keep up with the story.
